Fatima Ballout, M.A. Applied Behavior Analysis
I am a child and family practitioner with over 10 years of experience supporting children, adolescents, and their families through emotional, behavioral, and developmental challenges. My work is rooted in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and guided by a deep belief that meaningful change happens when children feel understood, safe, and supported both emotionally and developmentally.
I hold a master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from Arizona State University, as well as a bachelor’s degree in communication Disorders and Sciences from California State University, Northridge. This academic background allows me to work holistically, addressing not only behavior, but also communication and emotional regulation.
In my private practice, I work closely children and families navigating challenges such as emotional dysregulation, anger, aggression, anxiety, social difficulties, and family changes, including divorce. I use child-centered strategies, visual supports, structured play, and practical tools to help children understand their emotions, build coping skills, and learn new behavioral skills.
I strongly believe that children do well when they are taught, not blamed and that parents thrive when they are supported. My goal is to support families and guide therapists with practical strategies, clarity, and confidence, helping them create lasting, meaningful change.
